Welcome to Project: Nicaragua
For a second year, our group of students from Carnegie Mellon University embarked on a personal journey to Leon, Nicaragua.
For a second year, we spent a little over one week in León building a community center, implementing and teaching entrepreneurship and marketing plan workshops, and serving the greater community goals with the tools they have acquired during our time at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, PA.
Thus Project: Nicaragua began.
This March, another team of 13 students will embark on this amazing 10-day journey, where they will immerse themselves in the vibrant Nicaraguan culture. This is a unique service trip for the Carnegie Mellon community and they hope that through their example, they can help spread their love of learning and serving others.
In addition to donating generously to the 2008 project, The Tepper School also offered to feature the truly remarkable achievements of its students on their website.
