SIFE presents a unique leadership experience that helps develop essential skills and use the material learnt in class to impact the community. Last year, SIFE consisted of 200 dedicated members who carried out projects in 20 different countries. The Carnegie Mellon SIFE chapter is always looking for members who are willing to help the community and at the same time take advantage of the great experience they have. We strongly recommend you to have a look at the projects offered. There are a wide-range of projects that impact people from all sections of the community.
Furthermore, SIFE is a very diversified organization. There are opportunities for everyone. No matter where you are from or what major you are, there is definitely an opportunity for you to get involved. Get in touch with a project leader if you are interested in a particular project. If you have any other interests such as design, photography or IT, definitely look into the prospect of joining the Desgn or the IT/Media committee.
