About Global Economy
Global Economy‘s purpose is to educate and inspire elementary school students to value free Enterprise and the global economy. The distinct feature of the project is the use of hands-on experiences and interactive material to help children understand the economics of life.
Last year Global Economy held a series of workshops in 9 different schools in countries such as Greece, United Arab Emirates and Qatar, teaching students essential economic topics such as currency exchange and international trade.
Global Economy also implemented an online game, "Eco-Jumble",which allows students to test their knowledge of the basic economies and currencies.
The website has already reached out to 847 students from 8 different countries. Sponsored by Campbell‘s SoupCompany, Global Economy impacted a total of 1,299 students.
